My Dad was a patient at Pekin Hospital, and I just want you to know how pleased we are with the care he had. Jeremiah was my Dad's nurse most of the time - he is so kind, caring and compassionate. I've never met a nurse like him.

My Dad worked for years in the surgery department of another hospital, and he came to your ER with cardiac issues. My concern was that we might need to transfer him to that hospital, but his care at Pekin was absolutely outstanding and I never had any desire to move Dad. I think when people do an outstanding job, it's important to make sure Administration knows that.

It was not my intention to deliver at Pekin Hospital - I was pre-registered at a Peoria hospital... but I was having strong contractions, an ice storm was starting, and my doctor was gone on vacation. I drove myself to Pekin Hospital since I live less than a mile away. I was treated so well that I decided to deliver there.
